Starting from this Saturday, First Grade matches will be streamed on the SACA’s new dedicated Match Centre using InteractSport’s FrogBox streaming service.
The streaming service provides live and on-demand viewing options, as well as automated score graphics, sponsor integrations and highlights.
SACA General Manager, High Performance Tim Nielsen lauded the deal as a necessary strategic step to showcase the local competition and support the further development of players, coaches and clubs.
“Shining a brighter light on Premier Cricket is one of our important objectives, as is the continued improvement of our player and coach development, accessing game and player vision will play a significant role in this development.
"We’re therefore delighted to be introducing InteractSport’s live streaming technology that will go a long way to helping both the SACA and our clubs achieve all of these goals.”
InteractSport’s Head of Global Partnerships Tim Anderson stressed the need for sporting organisations to think digitally in order to future proof their product.
“Digital technology is now shaping all aspects of our lives, and particularly sport. Sports organisations therefore need to move with the times and embrace the possibilities a digital first approach offers.
"The SACA and its clubs have done this by recognising the value of live streaming Premier Cricket and we are excited about taking this journey with them over the next three years.”
West End’s Field Sales Direct, Jason Baily said:
“West End is proud of its long-term relationship with the SACA’s Premier Cricket competition.
"We therefore can’t wait to watch the upcoming matches and highlights on the SACA’s new Match Centre.
In addition, as a sponsor of community sport it will be great to see our brand on the live streams as we continue to support the best club cricket in South Australia."
